Liverpool are in transfer talks over a defender from a Bundesliga club
Liverpool is beginning to plan its squad for the next season, and signing a new central defender is one of the club's priorities.
According to Santi Aouna, the Merseysiders have already started negotiations for the transfer of 22-year-old center-back Willian Pacho from Eintracht Frankfurt, who is considered one of the biggest talents in Europe in his position.
However, the issue in the negotiations is the price that Eintracht wants for the Ecuadorian player - 65 million euros.
In addition to Liverpool, Pacho is also of interest to Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle, and Napoli.
Pacho moved to Eintracht last summer from Antwerp for 9 million euros. In the current season, he has played 40 matches in all competitions.
It's worth mentioning that Liverpool will have a new head coach next season. It is expected that Arne Slot from Feyenoord will replace Jürgen Klopp.
