This summer, Liverpool has yet to make any signings, but it is anticipated that the club will be active in the transfer market during the final month.

According to Relevo, Liverpool has already agreed on a five-year contract with Spain and Real Sociedad midfielder Martín Zubimendi. The player has reportedly given his consent to the transfer.

To finalize Zubimendi’s signing, Liverpool still needs to reach an agreement with his club. However, there is a possibility that the Merseyside club will simply trigger his release clause, which stands at €60 million.

This summer, Zubimendi became a European champion with the Spanish national team, appearing in four matches, including 45 minutes in the final against England.

Previously, there were reports of interest in Zubimendi from Barcelona and Arsenal.

The 25-year-old Zubimendi has spent his entire career at his boyhood club, Real Sociedad. In total, he has made 188 appearances, scored 8 goals, and provided 7 assists.

It’s also worth noting that Liverpool is reportedly interested in Valencia and Georgian national team goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
