Lionel Messi's path to the 1000th goal revealed

In a regular season MLS match, Inter Miami came from behind to secure a victory over Atlanta United, with Messi once again finding the back of the net.

Details: This goal was quite spectacular – the Argentinian intercepted the ball from a defender, dribbled past another opponent, and chipped the goalkeeper. This marks Messi's 854th career goal, leaving the legendary forward with 146 more to reach the 1000-goal milestone.

In the current season, Lionel Messi has scored four goals and provided two assists in five matches.

Incidentally, in Al-Nassr's latest game, Cristiano Ronaldo also scored. He has now netted 928 career goals, leaving him 72 strikes away from the 1000-goal mark.
