Lionel Messi has revealed when he will end his soccer career

Inter Miami's star forward Lionel Messi has revealed when he might decide to hang up his boots for good.

According to the legendary Argentine, he will retire from professional football once he no longer finds pleasure in playing.

"I know that as soon as I realize that I can no longer perform, or no longer enjoy the game, or cannot help my teammates anymore, then I will stop. My retirement won't depend on my age. If I feel good, I will continue playing," quoted Messi by Fabrizio Romano.

Earlier, the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner admitted whether he wanted to leave Barcelona for PSG.

At present, the 36-year-old Messi is the leader of Inter Miami in MLS. He has been playing for the club in the USA since the summer of 2023, after his contract with PSG expired.

In the current season, the legendary footballer has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 5 matches for Inter Miami in all competitions.
