Lionel Messi's wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, gave fans a glimpse into the football legend's birthday celebration by posting photos on her Instagram page.
The pictures capture the festive atmosphere, showcasing the invited guests, romantic embraces and dances shared by Leo and Antonela, as well as their sons enjoying a game of football.
To recap, Messi celebrated his 38th birthday on June 24. Marking the occasion, his wife surprised him with a special cake that playfully poked fun at Leo.
Atop the cake sat a figurine of a Smurf with a disgruntled expression—a clear nod from Antonela to Leo's well-known nickname, "the gnome."
It's worth noting that Messi's team, Inter Miami, achieved a major milestone by advancing to the Round of 16 in the FIFA Club World Cup, where they will now face French giants PSG, Messi's former club before his move to the United States. This high-stakes clash is scheduled for June 29 at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
