Leo Messi reacts to Inter Miami's emphatic victory over Columbus Crew
Lionel Messi played a pivotal role in helping his team secure another MLS win and celebrated the triumph with a post on his Instagram page.
The Argentine superstar shared photos from the match, captioning them, "Another home win!! ➕3️⃣ @intermiamicf." Notably, the clash ended with a resounding 5-1 victory for the Florida side.
Messi made his mark in the game by netting a brace. This brought his tally to 15 goals in 20 matches this season. In addition, the Argentine has provided 6 assists in these games.
Currently, Inter Miami sits sixth in the MLS standings. Messi's team trails the league-leading Philadelphia Union by five points, but Inter still has a game in hand.
As a reminder, Messi recently revealed his favorite goal of his career. He named his header in the 2009 Champions League final against Manchester United as his best ever, noting it was scored in an uncharacteristic fashion for him—by heading the ball into the net.
