Legend’s return: Tiger Woods to compete at The Genesis Invitational
Next week, from February 13-16, the prestigious PGA Tour event, The Genesis Invitational, will take place, marking the return of a golfing icon.
Details: Tournament organizers have officially confirmed that American golf legend Tiger Woods will participate in the event. In December 2024, Woods played alongside his son Charlie at the PNC Championship on the PGA Tour Champions circuit, where they lost to Bernhard Langer’s team in a playoff. In recent weeks, Woods has also competed in two TGL matches with his team, Jupiter Links.
Previously, it was reported that Tiger Woods announced the passing of his mother, Kultida Woods, on the morning of Tuesday, February 4.
Reminder: Recently, Tiger Woods made his debut in the TGL golf league, which he co-founded alongside Rory McIlroy. However, his start was less than ideal, as a mishit during a round resulted in an unexpectedly comical moment.
