Tiger Woods is widely regarded as a legendary golfer who has made an immense impact on the sport. However, his family has suffered a heartbreaking loss.
Details: Tiger Woods has officially announced that his mother, Kultida Woods, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, February 4.
Statement: "With deep sadness, I want to share that my dear mother, Kultida Woods, passed away early this morning. My mom was a force of nature, her spirit was simply undeniable. She had a sharp wit and a contagious laugh. She was my biggest fan, my greatest supporter—without her, none of my personal achievements would have been possible.
She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie. Thank you all for your support, prayers, and for respecting our privacy during this difficult time for me and my family. Love you, Mom," Woods said in his statement.
Reminder: Recently, Tiger Woods made his debut in the TGL golf league, which he co-founded alongside Rory McIlroy. However, his start was less than ideal, as a mishit during a round resulted in an unexpectedly comical moment.
