The Premier League has announced that striker Andrew Cole and defender John Terry have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Cole is an English footballer, primarily known as a striker. He is most famous for his time with English clubs Newcastle United and Manchester United, with the latter of which he won the treble in 1999 (the Premier League title, UEFA Champions League, and FA Cup).

Andy Cole is the fourth highest goal scorer in Premier League history, with 187 goals, surpassed only by Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney, and Harry Kane.

John Terry is a five-time English champion with Chelsea (2005, 2006, 2010, 2015, 2017), and the most prolific defender in the club's history. Terry was named the best defender in the UEFA Champions League in the 2004-2005 and 2007-2008 seasons.

He was named the Player of the Year in 2005 by the Professional Footballers' Association. He was also included in the FIFA World XI for four consecutive years: 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.

Cole and Terry became the second and third footballers to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame in 2024. The first was former Chelsea and Arsenal full-back Ashley Cole.
