Legendary! Messi meets Roberto Baggio and receives a signed jersey

The legendary Lionel Messi had a memorable encounter with another football icon—former Italy striker and star of numerous Italian clubs, Roberto Baggio. The Argentine shared photos from their meeting on his Instagram page.
Messi posted several snapshots where he poses with Roberto and the gifted Italy national team jersey, complete with Baggio's name emblazoned on the back. The iconic Italian also left his autograph on the shirt.
“What a wonderful visit! Thank you, Roberto, for this special and meaningful gift and for the great conversation we shared. You are a star and a legend of football. We will always be happy to welcome you whenever you want to come to us!” Leo wrote under the post.
As a reminder, Roberto Baggio is the winner of the 1993 Ballon d'Or. He also lifted the 1993 UEFA Cup with Juventus and won Serie A titles with both Juventus and Milan. However, he is perhaps most famously remembered for his missed penalty in the shootout of the 1994 World Cup final against Brazil.
