Football legend Lionel Messi has received an unexpected gift from his compatriot, Formula 1 driver Franco Colapinto. Colapinto shared the news on his Instagram page.
He posted a photo showing Messi holding his gift—a helmet personally signed by Colapinto, which he wore last season when he was a Formula 2 driver. Franco inscribed the helmet with the message: "Thank you for so much joy and for all the lessons. All the best."

This memorable exchange happened while Colapinto was also in North America for the Canadian Grand Prix. Messi, meanwhile, is in the United States, competing with Inter Miami in the Club World Cup.
It's worth noting that earlier, Messi had sent Colapinto a signed Argentina national team training jersey, which thrilled the 22-year-old racer.
"I can’t believe it, thank you so much. As you can see, it brought me a lot of luck. It has the signature of the best in the world. I’m going to frame this shirt. I’m super happy and thankful to you, Leo," Colapinto said.
