Failure. Messi snubs YouTube blogger IShowSpeed ahead of Club World Cup opener

YouTube sensation and devoted Cristiano Ronaldo fan IShowSpeed faced a crushing disappointment as he tried to meet Lionel Messi before the Club World Cup opening match. A video capturing the moment the Argentine superstar walked past the YouTuber, completely ignoring him, was posted on IShowSpeed's X account.
Despite being a Ronaldo enthusiast, IShowSpeed was eager to meet Lionel Messi—and he almost pulled it off. Just before the match, in the tunnel area, Leo exchanged greetings with Youri Djorkaeff and Pepe, with IShowSpeed standing right alongside them.
But Messi snubbed the American, walking right past him without so much as a glance. It's worth noting that the YouTuber had previously tried to arrange a meeting with Messi through his friend Sergio Agüero.
Perhaps Lionel simply didn’t notice IShowSpeed in the crowded tunnel, or maybe it was payback for the YouTuber’s open preference for his arch-rival, Cristiano Ronaldo.
For the record, the opening match between Inter Miami and Egypt’s Al Ahly ended in a goalless 0-0 draw.
