Details. According to RTI Esporte, the team América intends to make an offer to the former Real Madrid player Marcelo, who is currently without a club after leaving Fluminense.
It is reported that Emilio Azcárraga, the owner of América, is personally involved in negotiations with 36-year-old Marcelo. The player wants to sign a one-year contract worth around 24 million dollars. One of the sponsors of the deal is expected to be Nike and Televisa, which will cover part of the Brazilian’s salary.
