Legendary Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is contemplating a return to the professional ring.

Pacquiao may immediately compete in a title bout for the WBC welterweight championship. His potential opponent is the 29-year-old American boxer Mario Barrios.

At 45 years old, Pacquiao is 16 years senior to Barrios. Pacquiao's last fight was in 2021 against Yordenis Ugas, which he lost by unanimous decision.
