Legendary former Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanović is preparing to embark on a coaching career in the coming months.
According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the former Inter captain may become a coach for one of the youth teams within the Nerazzurri structure.
The 39-year-old Handanović was Inter's first-choice goalkeeper from 2012 to 2023. After leaving the Milan club, the Slovenian goalkeeper retired from playing.
During his time with Inter, the Bosnian won the Scudetto in 2021, as well as two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. Samir was named Slovenian Footballer of the Year three times.
