Legend Benni McCarthy on Stellenbosch FC Gavin Hunt: He should be respected as he has been coaching for a while and he is an elephant in coaching

Gavin Hunt should be respected.

The Stellenbosch FC coach is one of the few who have done well in the local game and deserve more than respect.

This is the view of Kenya National Team coach and South Africa’s football legend, Benni McCarthy.

“Coach Gavin Hunt is an elephant of the game,” McCarthy told iDiski Times.

“They do not go extinct. He’s young at heart and players love playing for him.”

“You want to come up against coaches like that. It helps you mature very quickly because you know you’re competing against the best.”
