Bronny James, the son of Lakers' legendary forward LeBron James, underwent evaluation, and doctors have allowed him to return to sports.

"Medical professionals have given Bronny James full clearance to return to basketball. This week, Bronny will undergo final evaluations by the University of Southern California staff and resume training the following week. Soon after, he'll be back on the court.

The James family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible medical team, the USC community, and especially countless friends, family, and fans for their love and support. Keep fighting," - a statement from the family's representative reads.

To recall, in July of this year, the 18-year-old player experienced a cardiac event, leading to a pause in his appearances for his team at the University of Southern California in the NCAA. Earlier, there were reports that the Lakers might aim to acquire Bronny in the 2024 draft to keep him within LeBron's team.
