LeBron James could become a co-owner of the eighteen-time NBA champions
One of the most renowned basketball players in the world, LeBron James, continues to excel not only on the court but also in the business arena. In 2011, he acquired a stake in Liverpool Football Club alongside Fenway Sports Group (FSG), and by 2021, he became a partner in FSG, granting him ownership stakes in the Boston Red Sox baseball team and the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team.
This momentum shows no signs of slowing, as FSG, in collaboration with RedBird Capital, is reportedly considering the acquisition of the Boston Celtics, according to the New York Post.
It is worth noting that Boston won the NBA Championship last season, bringing their total titles to a record eighteen. Following their victory over the Dallas Mavericks in the finals, the team's current owner, Wyc Grousbeck, stunned fans by announcing his decision to sell the club.

Sources estimate the value of the team at approximately €6 billion.
While the 39-year-old LeBron continues to thrive in the NBA, he cannot own a stake in the Celtics while playing for the Lakers. However, the planned sale of the team may still align with the legend's future ambitions. The sale is expected to occur in two stages, with the final 49% of the team likely to be sold in 2028, by which time LeBron is expected to have retired from professional basketball.
Let us remind you that today LeBron, together with the US team, will fight against the French in the finals of the Olympic Games.
