Lazio are bracing themselves for stiff competition.

Details: According to renowned and respected journalist and insider Ekrem Konur on his X social media page, Lazio are showing persistent interest in 19-year-old River Plate winger Ian Subiabre.

Reports suggest that Subiabre is viewed by the “Roman Eagles” as one of the brightest prospects in modern football, and his signing would significantly bolster the team’s attacking firepower.

However, Lazio are not the only club tracking Subiabre. The young Argentine is also being monitored by Chelsea, Villarreal, and Tottenham, with the latter even making an official offer of €8 million to River Plate for Subiabre—an offer that was ultimately rejected.

This season, Subiabre has made 14 appearances for River Plate, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists. His contract with the Argentine club runs until 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €3.5 million.

Reminder: Maurizio Sarri is on the verge of being sacked by Lazio. What happened?
