Premier League legend Frank Lampard has been out of work since leaving Chelsea, but that is set to change soon.

Details: According to The Telegraph, Lampard is expected to be announced as the new head coach of Coventry City, who currently compete in the Championship, in the coming days.

Negotiations between Lampard and Coventry were lengthy and reportedly challenging, but the two sides have reached a full agreement on a contract running until the summer of 2026, with an option for extension.

He will replace Mark Robins, who was dismissed last month.

Throughout his managerial career, Lampard has coached Derby County, Everton, and Chelsea. However, his only notable success came during his tenure with Derby.

Reminder: Earlier reports suggested that Coventry was also considering Ruud van Nistelrooy for the position.
