Lakers want to trade Deangelo Russell
Los Angeles Lakers have been trying to trade Deangelo Russell since the Californians exercised the player option. NBA insider Jovana Bouhi reports that.
"If you're the Lakers and you're considering trading Russell at some point, it would be nice to have a player of Spencer Dinwiddie's calibre on your roster so that if you trade Russell for a big man or a wing, you don't have to rely on Vincent or Hood-Shifino," Buha said.
The 28-year-old point guard exercised his $18.7 million player option.
Last season, NBA Russell averaged 18 points, 3.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists in the regular season and 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists in the playoffs.
Earlier, we reported that the MVP of the final game of the NBA Summer League signed a full contract with Miami.
