La Liga to appeal temporary approval for registering Olmo and Víctor
The controversy surrounding the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor, currently approved by Spain’s Higher Sports Council, is far from over. Although La Liga has reinstated the players into Barcelona's squad, the league has no intention of backing down without a fight.
Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, La Liga plans to file an appeal with an administrative court to block the temporary decision allowing Olmo and Víctor to be registered.
Reminder: The approval to register Olmo and Víctor is temporary, granted to allow the Higher Sports Council time to conduct a detailed review of the case. During this period, estimated to last about three months, Barcelona has managed to include the players in their squad.
If the registration of the two players remains in effect, the employers’ association could submit another appeal through the same administrative process.
