One of the most high-profile scandals of recent months has been resolved in Barcelona's favor.

Details: Today, La Liga officially reinstated attacking midfielder Dani Olmo and forward Pau Víctor to Barcelona's squad.

Previously, both players were excluded from the registration list as Barcelona failed to resolve their financial issues and provide guarantees to La Liga in time.

However, yesterday, the Spanish High Sports Council (CSD) granted Barcelona temporary permission to register Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. This decision is provisional and does not guarantee that the players will be eligible to play for the club throughout the 2024/25 season. The CSD's legal department has up to three months to thoroughly examine the case and issue a final decision.

Olmo and Víctor may feature for Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final against the winner of the match between Real Madrid and Mallorca.

This season, Olmo has played 15 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 1 assist.

Reminder: Earlier today, it was reported that Barcelona's central defender Ronald Araújo informed his teammates that he will leave the club this winter.
