Barcelona recently announced the sale of 475 VIP seats at the renovated Camp Nou, using the funds to address financial difficulties. However, La Liga has concerns about the nature of the deal.

Details: According to AS, a portion of the 30-year lease agreements for VIP seats was purchased by New Era Visionary Group (NEVG), a company based in the United Arab Emirates. The issue? NEVG describes itself as "the official telecommunications operator of FC Barcelona," and the deal was completed less than two months after the company acquired that status.

As a result, La Liga suspects that Barcelona and NEVG may have excessive ties, raising concerns about the legitimacy of the transaction. The league sees parallels to a previous failed attempt to sell Barca Vision shares at inflated prices.

Reminder: Club president Joan Laporta previously stated that the revenue from these sales helped register Dani Olmo and partially repay debts related to Camp Nou’s renovation.
