La Liga president comments on whether Barcelona can register Nico Williams

Barcelona are trying to secure the transfer of Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, but once again, financial questions are arising—and the president of La Liga has made it clear that things are far from straightforward.

Details: Javier Tebas stated that Barcelona will not be able to register Nico Williams, even if they sign him to a contract.

Quote: "As of today, Barcelona cannot register Nico Williams," said the La Liga president.

Earlier reports indicated that the situation surrounding the transfer of Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams is heating up, with the Basque club increasingly accusing Barcelona of using improper negotiation tactics.

Reminder: Former Athletic director Rafa Alkorta criticized the public statements made by representatives of the Catalan club. He also questioned whether there might be issues with the player's transfer and registration.
