The newly signed forward of Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappe, has spoken about whether the management of the "Royal Club" will allow him to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games.

It is likely that the striker will not be able to take part in the tournament.

"My club's position on the Olympics is very clear. I don't think I will play in the tournament, that’s the truth.

At the same time, I understand that joining a new team and arriving there in September is not the best way to start this adventure. I want to wish France success. I will watch the games as a fan. I have participated in them before, but this time I will be a spectator. I hope the team brings home the gold medals," Mbappe told RMC Sport.

The football tournament at the Olympics will take place from July 24 to August 9 in France. The French Olympic team will face the USA, Guinea, and New Zealand in the group stage.

Let’s remember that at the beginning of June, Mbappe officially became a Real Madrid player. The forward signed a contract with the "Royal Club" until the summer of 2029.
