Kvaratskhelia officially bids farewell to Napoli
The transfer of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli to PSG is shaping up to be one of the most high-profile moves of the current winter transfer window. Today, the Georgian player said an emotional goodbye to the Neapolitan club.
Details: On his Instagram page, Kvaratskhelia shared a heartfelt video with the following message:
"Hello. This is difficult for me, but the time has come to say goodbye. I had an incredible time here. Together, we created many memories and experienced countless amazing emotions. Napoli was my home, a place where I felt great, thanks to each and every one of you. The journey we took together is still fresh in my mind, and it’s incredibly emotional.
I remember my first goal and the feelings I will never forget. My first steps on this stadium, your passionate emotions, your chants, and your energy. You’ve always been special, both at home and away. Napoli is a football city, and Naples lives for football, and I’m happy to have been part of this great story."
PSG will pay €70 million for Kvaratskhelia’s transfer. The player is set to sign a contract lasting until the summer of 2030.
