Škriniar reaches preliminary agreement with Galatasaray
Paris Saint-Germain's central defender Milan Škriniar is edging closer to a move away from the French capital, with Turkey emerging as his most likely destination.
Details. According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Škriniar has reached a preliminary agreement with Galatasaray, despite PSG having offered the Slovak player to other clubs, including Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Napoli. Galatasaray is now awaiting PSG's approval to finalize the deal, which includes covering a portion of his salary (€5 million from January to June).
The move is expected to be a loan deal with an option to buy, with the Turkish club covering at least half of Škriniar's €11 million annual salary.
Škriniar joined PSG from Inter Milan as a free agent in the summer of 2023. However, he has only featured in five Ligue 1 matches this season.
Reminder. In addition to Škriniar, PSG is also set to part ways with forward Randal Kolo Muani, who is attracting interest from three Premier League clubs.
