The debate over CAF’s decision shows no sign of ending
The Senegalese international has taken a dig at the Atlas Lions over the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Krepin Diatta has commented on the Confederation of African Football’s decision to strip Senegal of the title and award it to Morocco. Although the case is before the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Diatta remains adamant that Senegal are the rightful champions.
In a recent statement, the Senegalese midfielder lashed out at the Moroccans. In his view, the Atlas Lions deserve no credit for the title after being beaten on the pitch.
“No medals will be handed back! If they want medals, they’ll just have to go to the blacksmith.”
