Koller Misses Final Training Ahead of Al Ahly's Clash with Smouha

Swiss coach Marcel Koller was absent from Al Ahly’s final training session on Monday, ahead of their postponed Egyptian Premier League match against Smouha on Tuesday. The match is set to take place at Cairo International Stadium at 4:00 PM (Cairo time).

Koller's health problem and mental anguish have been confirmed by team physician Ahmed Gaballah. He gave his word that Koller has been given the required medicine and would be under strict observation for the next three hours.

Koller’s unexpected absence has raised concerns, especially as it coincides with the team’s recent patchy results. Al Ahly were held to a goalless draw against Enppi in their last league match and suffered a 1-0 defeat to Algeria's Chabab Belouizdad in the CAF Champions League.

Currently sitting in third place in the league table, Al Ahly could move to the top with a win against Smouha, edging out Zamalek and Pyramids by one point, though they still have a game in hand.
