Reports indicate that the 58-year-old Klopp, who took a coaching break after leaving Liverpool two years ago and is currently head of football operations at Red Bull, could take the helm of Los Blancos this summer.
It is claimed that Klopp is not willing to take charge mid-season, but he is open to joining Real in the summer. The German has reportedly already outlined his transfer requirements: he wants a central defender and a holding midfielder with strong distribution skills. Among the candidates for the centre-back position are Dayot Upamecano from Bayern and Marc Guéhi from Crystal Palace.
