Klopp responds to fan criticism over joining Red Bull

Jürgen Klopp’s decision to shift from coaching to the role of head of football operations at Red Bull sparked a wave of criticism from Mainz and Borussia Dortmund fans, with some even calling him a traitor. However, Klopp has taken a cautious approach to the backlash.

Details: Klopp explained that he wanted a break from coaching, and the offer from Red Bull seemed like an ideal way to stay involved in football. He emphasized that he holds no ill feelings toward his former clubs.

Quote: “I honestly don’t know what more I could have done to keep everyone happy. I didn’t mean to step on any toes, absolutely not, and personally, I still love all my former clubs,” the German coach shared on the Einfach mal Luppen podcast, hosted by Toni Kroos and his brother Felix.
