Lately, the football world has been buzzing about who could succeed Mohamed Salah at Liverpool. One of the leading candidates to replace the Egyptian star is West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen.
According to The Mirror, former Merseyside striker Michael Owen believes Bowen is the ideal choice to strengthen Liverpool's attack after Salah's departure. Interestingly, former "Reds" boss Jürgen Klopp has also previously praised the Englishman highly.
The potential transfer saga is heating up, especially given West Ham's current struggles. The London club is enduring a tough season and faces the real threat of relegation from the Premier League, which could significantly impact the futures of the team's top players.
Despite his status as captain and a contract running until 2030, relegation could make Bowen a much more attainable target in the transfer market. Meanwhile, Liverpool are already working hard to identify a new attacking leader, as Salah has decided to leave the club in the summer of 2026.
