Kitara FC put on an amazing display on Saturday, defeating Express FC 7-0 in the most lopsided victory of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League season. George Senkaaba scored a magnificent hat-trick, while Jude Ssemugabi added a brace. Fred Amaku and David Ndihabwe also scored goals, demonstrating Kitara's offensive prowess under coach Wasswa Bbosa.
With the victory, Kitara moved up to ninth place in the league standings with 17 points, their fourth victory in five games. With 21 goals in five games, including notable wins over Maroons (4-0) and Mbale Heroes (6-0), their attacking record has been outstanding.
For Express FC, the defeat was their second in a row after a narrow 2-1 loss to URA FC. The Red Eagles now sit fifth with 19 points from 13 matches.

Kitara wasted no time asserting control, scoring just two minutes in when George Senkaaba headed home a cross from Solomon Okwalinga. With a brilliant solo effort in the twenty-first minute, Jude Ssemugabi blew past defenders to score a low finish, doubling the advantage.
Fred Amaku made it 3-0 in the 36th minute, capitalizing on Senkaaba’s assist after a long delivery into the box. The second half continued Kitara’s dominance, with Senkaaba tapping in his second goal in the 58th minute, before completing his hat-trick in the 77th.
Ssemugabi scored his second a minute later, and David Ndihabwe completed the whitewash in the 86th minute, providing a statement performance for Kitara FC.
