Khanyisa Mayo's future with Kaizer Chiefs in doubt after his loan spell ended
Mayo has been on loan from Algerian side CR Belouzdad
Khanyisa Mayo is likely to leave Kaizer Chiefs in this window.
Mayo joined Amakhosi at the start of the season on loan from Algerian side CR Belouzdad.
The idea of the move was to see the former Cape Town City striker make his Chiefs move a permanent one.
But the statistics are against that.
Mayo has only scored two goals in 15 matches for Chiefs this season and that is not a good return for a marksman at a club of Chiefs' calibre.
Also, the Algerian side have a new president in Mohamed Arar, who can have a say in whether as a club they keep Mayo or he can leave the team.
Mayo has been unsettled in North Africa so a move back home is likely but it may not be Chiefs.
