American Madison Keys sensationally became the second finalist of the Australian Open 2025. In the semifinal, she defeated the world's No. 2 player, Iga Świątek.

Details: The first set was simply unbelievable. The players exchanged breaks at the very start, and the set lasted all 12 games – 7:5 in favor of Świątek.

But in the second set, the world's No. 2 was simply unrecognizable. The Polish tennis player was on the verge of losing the set in a bagel, but she still won one game and suffered a defeat 1:6.

The deciding set was very similar to the first. At 6:5, Świątek was one step away from closing the match, but she allowed Keys to break and take the game to a tiebreak.

In the final, she will face the world No. 1, Aryna Sabalenka, who defeated Paula Badosa today.
