Everton is fighting to stay in the Premier League this season, but they will now have to finish the campaign without one of their key players.
Details: Everton’s starting central midfielder Orel Mangala has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a serious injury.
The 26-year-old Belgian has suffered a torn ACL, and his recovery is expected to take at least eight months.
It is likely that Mangala will not play for Everton again, as he is on loan from Lyon.
Reminder: Everton’s last match against Brighton marked David Moyes' 700th game as a Premier League manager.
