Details: According to The Times, Harry Kane is set to agree a new deal with Bayern that will keep him at the club until 2029. The England national team captain is entering the final year of his current contract, and extension talks are scheduled to kick off this week as the striker rejoins his teammates after his holiday.
The Munich club has long built its entire sporting project around the 33-year-old Englishman: since his €95 million move from Tottenham in the summer of 2023, Kane has netted 119 goals in 126 appearances for Bayern and claimed two Bundesliga titles. The forward’s salary in the new deal will remain at around €25 million gross per year, with no talks of a reduction. Kane himself has made it clear he’s willing to adapt his game to stay at the top level for as long as possible.
Back in late June, Barcelona made an official inquiry about Kane with his representatives, while Al-Hilal tried to lure him to Saudi Arabia, but the Englishman chose Munich. Now, his new contract will finally put those rumors to rest.
