VIDEO. Kane breaks Haaland's Bundesliga record

Yesterday, Bayern faced Darmstadt 98 on their home turf. The Bavarians utterly demolished their opponents, scoring eight goals. Musiala and Sané each contributed a brace, while Harry Kane managed to net a hat-trick in that match. Remarkably, one of Kane's goals came from his own half of the field.
Thanks to these three goals, the forward has now reached a tally of twelve goals in the first nine matches of the Bundesliga, surpassing Erling Haaland's record. Haaland, who played for Borussia Dortmund, scored ten goals in the first nine matches. Apart from Haaland, only Paco Alcácer, Horst Hrubesch, Rüdiger Mielke, Klaus Matishcak, and Gert Dorfel achieved the feat of ten goals in their first nine matches.
Harry Kane made a €100 million move to Bayern in the summer transfer window. In addition to his twelve goals, the forward has provided five assists, all in the Bundesliga. In the Champions League, Kane has featured in three matches, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
Notably, Haaland broke numerous records in the English Premier League after moving to Manchester City, even surpassing Kane. In his debut season, he scored 35 goals in the Premier League, which is more than Kane ever scored in a single football year (Kane's record is 30 goals in the 2017/18 season). In total, during his time at Tottenham, Harry Kane netted 280 goals in 435 matches across all competitions, while Haaland scored 115 goals in 116 matches in the Bundesliga.
