Kane and Mbappé receive France Football awards as best forwards of the year

During the Ballon d'Or ceremony, organizers present additional awards alongside the main prize. Among them is the Gerd Müller Trophy, awarded to the best forward of the year.
This year, the award was shared by two of today’s top strikers.
One of the trophies will go to Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé, while the other was awarded to one of the top scorers of this era, Harry Kane.
Both forwards scored 52 goals last season.
Only Kane attended the ceremony; no representatives from Real Madrid were present in Paris. Rumors suggest this absence is due to a dispute with the organizers, who are expected to award the Ballon d'Or to Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
Earlier, we reported that the Young Player of the Year title was awarded to Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal.
