The Chiefs' attacking struggles have prompted the club's management to seek new ways to bolster their offensive firepower.
Details: Tunisian coach of Kaizer Chiefs has set his sights on one of Mamelodi Sundowns' rising stars—Etiosa Ighodaro. Despite his youth, Ighodaro has already made 27 appearances and netted 6 goals.
Nasreddine Nabi's squad is facing a shortage of clinical forwards. This season, the team's top scorers are Glody Lilepo and Wandile Duba, each with just five goals—a tally that clearly doesn't satisfy the head coach.
Previously, Kaizer Chiefs tried to resolve their attacking woes by signing both Taariq Morris and Glody Lilepo. While Lilepo made it onto the club's list of top scorers, Morris failed to live up to expectations, forcing management to continue their search for attacking reinforcements.
"You know, it's interesting—the same scouts who once brought him from Nigeria to Sundowns are now showing interest in him for Chiefs," reports Soccer-Laduma.
