A young South African talent could soon be making his return home.
Details: According to the portal UNPLAYABLE, the Amakhosi continue to scour Europe’s top leagues in search of reinforcements for the upcoming season.
Currently, all eyes are on 25-year-old defender Nkanyiso Shinga from Portuguese side Alverca, who made the move to Portugal back in 2018.
Reports suggest negotiations are at an advanced stage and the deal is nearly complete. Despite Shinga’s promotion to Portugal’s top flight with Alverca, he is eager to return home and don the famous Kaizer Chiefs jersey.
The player’s contract with the Portuguese club expires in just a few days and is unlikely to be renewed, opening the door for Kaizer Chiefs. Shinga’s market value is estimated at €350,000.
