The Amakhosi are eager to wrap up the transfer as soon as possible.

Details: According to information from Soccer Laduma, the Amakhosi scouts have been analyzing Athive Baliti's abilities to determine whether he fits their style of play, and it is believed he fits the bill perfectly.

Oh yes, the recruitment and scouting department is satisfied, and they've made progress in their pursuit to sign Athive. Apparently, they were interested at first, but then needed to conduct their own analysis and evaluate the player to see if he could fit into the Kaizer Chiefs' philosophy and style. It now seems they believe he can, so they're ready to move on to the next phase in their attempt to sign him.

Yes, there are young players who have been promoted to the first team and will travel with the squad to the Netherlands, but Athive (Baliti) has more experience in the top division. That's why they're considering him, as it's believed they can't currently secure Fawaaz Basadien or Mohamed Hussein," a second source told the Siya crew insider.

The 23-year-old Baliti Athive was promoted to SuperSport United's senior team from the youth side and made 18 first-team appearances last season.

With the youngster having passed the club's tactical assessment, the coming days could be decisive as the Chiefs push to secure their left-back before the start of their pre-season tour in the Netherlands.

According to Transfermarkt, Baliti Athive's market value is estimated at €200,000.
