Glody Lilepo looks increasingly likely to leave Kaizer Chiefs for North Africa.

The Democratic Republic of Congo born winger had a blinder of a season with Amakhosi and has few suitors which include Moroccan side, ASFAR, interested in him.

This possibility and probably reality for Chiefs is what makes them push for Stellenbosch FC's Langelihle Phili to join them.

Lilepo is not with Chiefs in Spain and talk is rife that the teams are negotiating behind the scenes for his release.

But Chiefs are hoping to release him having already bagged Phili from Stellies who want a transfer fee and Ashley Du Preez on loan before allowing the former AmaZulu man to leave.

Du Preez has not been the best of players for Chiefs last season and his form has dipped at Naturena.

A return to his former side has been mooted as a way to revive his ailing once promising career.
