Kaizer Chiefs' Jessica Motaung confirms new coach announcement is imminent

Kaizer Chiefs Marketing Director Jessica Motaung has confirmed the club is to announce its' new technical team soon.

Motaung did not reveal the timeline of the announcement as the team let go of co-coaches in Cedric Kaze and Ben Youssef Khalil.

"First and foremost, thank you to the coaches and the technical team for the wonderful work that they’ve done, getting us third,” said Motaung today on the sidelines of the Toyota Cup launch.

“And certainly, as we move forward the mandate and the announcements will be made in due course regarding the technical team and where we intend to go.

“But certainly, Chiefs is a team that is contending for what is on the table and making sure that we continue to rise to get success.”

Chiefs launched their pre-season tourney this afternoon where it was disclosed they will face Zimbabwe PSL side Scotland FC in July.
