Kaizer Chiefs extends Pule Mmodi's contract by another season
Mmodi's previous three year deal expired last month
Kaizer Chiefs have extended Pule Mmodi's contract by another season.
The former Golden Arrows midfielder joined Amakhosi three seasons ago and had that deal expiring last month.
But Chiefs had an option to renew and the club triggered the option to retain the attacking man in their camp for another campaign.
Mmodi's game has changed as he also admitted former coach Nasredine Nabi wanted him to be also defensive than being an attack minded player.
Staying at Chiefs is likely to also boost new coach Fernando da Cruz's plans of seeing the team reach new heights given the combination between players.
Chiefs let go of George Matlou and retaining Mmodi is a sound decision as they do not have depth in the central attacking position.
