Kaizer Chiefs discover price for their own transfer target
Recently, representatives of Kaizer Chiefs were spotted in Tanzania during a local match involving Simba SC. The visit, led by Nasreddine Nabi, has fueled transfer speculation linking the Naturena-based club with several players. One of those targets now has a concrete price tag.
Details: According to Soccer Laduma, Simba SC’s attacking midfielder Jean Charles Ahoua is on Kaizer Chiefs’ radar. However, the South African club faces strong competition from Spanish side UD Almería, who are also tracking the Ivorian player.
Ahoua is under contract with Simba until the summer of 2026. The Tanzanian giants are demanding a transfer fee of €538,400 (R11 million) and are also insisting on a 10% sell-on clause in any future transfer deal. It remains to be seen which club — Chiefs or Almería — will be willing to meet the demands to bring Ahoua into their squad.
Reminder: Earlier reports indicated that Kaizer Chiefs have increased their transfer budget.
