Kaizer Chiefs confirms Dillon Sheppard as assistant to newly-appointed coach Fernando da Cruz
Sheppard comes in having completed his Caf A coaching licence over the weekend
Dillon Sheppard has officially been appointed assistant coach at Kaizer Chiefs.
Sheppard will work with newly-appointed Fernando da Cruz alongside fellow assistant Mahmoud Abbas, who was brought by da Cruz.
"Coach Sheppard will officially take on the role of second assistant coach, working alongside Coach Fernando da Cruz and Assistant Coach Mahmoud Abbas, while continuing to serve as the vital link between the reserve side, where he collaborates with Coach Vela Khumalo, and the senior team," said Chiefs on their website.
Sheppard is not new to the first team as he also worked in a similar role with Arthur Zwane three seasons ago.
He also worked with previous co-coaches in Cedric Kaze and Ben Youssef Khalil last season.
