Kaizer Chiefs confirmed injury setback to defender Paseka Mako who is on his way back to the country for treatment.
The left-back broke his forearm in the team's friendly match against Al Khalood on Tuesday.
"Kaizer Chiefs’ pre-season preparations in Spain, led by coach Fernando Da Cruz, are progressing well as the team gears up for the new campaign,” the club said.
“However, defender Paseka Mako has suffered a setback after fracturing his forearm during Tuesday’s friendly match against Al Khalood."
Chiefs remain in Spain where they are expected to wrap up their pre-season camp on Sunday ahead of next week's Toyota Cup match against Zimbabwean side Scotland FC.
