It appears that South African football giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have accepted that forward Fiston Mayele of Pyramids is likely to remain in Egypt, and have started searching for alternative targets.

Details: According to Soccer Laduma, clubs from Naturena have turned their attention to Gil Vicente's forward Depu. The Angolan striker impressed at the COSAFA Cup, finishing as the tournament's top scorer—a performance that caught the eye of scouts from both clubs.

However, the source emphasizes that since Depu is currently playing in Portugal, securing his transfer will be a complex task. There are also reports coming from Poland suggesting the Angolan forward is set to continue his career there, with local side Radomiak already reaching an agreement with Gil Vicente for his transfer, as Dailysports reported yesterday.

Reminder: Depu was one of the standout stars of the COSAFA Cup, netting eight goals in five matches and earning the tournament's best player award.
